I once was
as quiet as a forgotten dream
Losing myself like a ghost in my own machine
Then I lit your fire
I become a live wire
Feel the power surging
Your beat's urging
Turn me
up... Don't be afraid to play me loud
Turn me up... I like this song so play it out
Now it's
history, those forgotten dreams
Feeling the current move, I'm like a new machine
Ooh, you're so exciting
Feels like lightning
No more running
I feel the music coming
Turn
me up... Don't be afraid to play me loud
Turn me up... I like this song so crank it out
Ooh
look at what
you're doing
Keep the signal moving
No getting past it
Go ahead and blast it!
Turn me
up... Don't be afraid to play me loud
Turn me up... I like this song so play it out
Turn me
up... Yeah yeah
I like this song so play it out
Turn me up... Ohh
Turn me up and play me loud
Turn me up... Yeah yeah
I like this song so play it out
Behind
the Scenes
We had the
chance to ask Steve Alterman about how the 'light up guitar' effect from
this video was created. Steve writes, "It was created by the company
that produced our videos, Hi-Five Productions, especially for that video,
and I don't know what happened to it. They
took a real guitar and drilled hundreds of small holes into the body of
the guitar, and then placed small fiber optic "wires" into each hole.
They then connected the other ends of the wires to different colored lights
and controlled it from a light controller box. The lights that come out
of the end of the guitar [near the end of the video] were just 3 small
flashlights taped on the neck."
